One of our guests recently took this stunning photo from Blea Tarn (head of the Great Langdale Valley going into Little Langdale Valley) looking across to the Langdale Pikes on an autumnal day. This was taken about 3.5 miles away from 2 & 7 Lingmoor View in Chapel Stile and the place the photo was taken can either be walked via off road paths direct from the cottage or it is possible to drive close to a car park near Blea Tarn at which point it is an easy stroll from the car park.
