Lake Grasmere from Alcock Tarn, 22 Nov 2015

A busy weekend spent doing DIY in 3 Tarn Cottages (Grasmere) including re-painting the stairwell and lounge, deep cleaning landing carpet and shower sealants and clearing lots of leaves from the gutters.
Managed a run from the cottage up to Grisedale Tarn (Dollywagon Pike) 4 miles away but icy route prevented any further progress due to not using fell shoes. However, enjoyed watching three shepherds working their sheep dogs to drive the ewes off the hillside for winter as the tupping process begins over the next three weeks.
